Years ago a group of 6 artists in Santa Fe, NM., now known as Meow Wulf, decided to buck the traditional art showing system. They made bizarre, psychedelic, otherworldly, immersive art works together. They exhibited their works through music shows and dance parties. They fell in love with creating more interesting and powerful works of art by collaborating and empowering each other.
Two local philanthropists bought a building, installed some art, and hoped to attract 100,000 annual visitors. They actually attracted 500,000 visitors a year, uncovered a sustainable model, and became profitable. What was born was a new way to bring art directly to the public. They now create themed experiences for different cities.
As I looked at a Monet experiential art immersion image, I was transported into an immersive experience involving creative arts merged with Solfeggio music in a forum allowing human interaction. It was too exciting to keep it to myself.
While Solfeggio’s music calms my frayed nerves, it opens the door to my Inner Source connection. It becomes my sustainer and my wise guidance counselor. Now, this introspective, soothing force can sustain me through life’s current chaos.
