Taming Fear & Anxiety class for HSP & PTSD survivors
Our mental stability has been challenged these last few years by pandemics, wars, politics, and other current events. For HSP and even non-HSP, a chaotic environment can cause our minds to lose focus by jumping from task to task, feeling unfocused, distracted, uncentered, and spacey.
We can easily move in and out of fear, anxiety, depression, negativity, and overwhelm in a circular mind trap. This entices us to eat sugar for energy, pop drugs for calmness, overwork for survival, abandon our friends for fear of seeing the stressed out aspects of us, ignoring our creativity, and abandoning our fun.
Besides losing joy and connection with life, these behaviors will drop us into negativity and eventually destroy our health- mental and physical. This is a destructive way to live.
In a 2005 article in the Institute of Noetic Science magazine, SHIFT, Rollin McCraty, Raymond Trevor, and Dan Tomasino explore the body’s heart field. They said the “heart generates the body’s most powerful and most extensive rhythmic electromagnetic field. It is sixty times greater in amplitude than the brain’s, permeates every cell, and can be detected several feet away from the body. Negative emotions, such as anger and frustration, are associated with an erratic, disordered, incoherent pattern in the heart’s rhythms.”
While positive emotions correlate with a smooth, coherent brain pattern and sustained positive emotions appear to give rise to a distinct mode of functioning, called psychophysiological coherence. This type of coherence results in increased harmony in body systems, reduction in internal mental dialogue, reduced stress, increased emotional balance, better mental clarity, enhanced intuitive discernment, and cognitive performance.
HSP’s need a more positive, supporting lifestyle. We need loving, positive energy like the greeting you get from your dog when you come home from work. Remember how that feels?
HSP’s need inner peace, confidence, and we need to feel safe and connected to our abilities and our guiding Spirit.
We need a different, more effective way to deal with stress and the world.
In Taming Anxiety Class, we break our normal, innate, reactionary response patterns. We will free the productive aspects of ourselves, create health in our body and amazing freedom in our mind.
We will do exercises to:
- work through our chaos
- come into centeredness,
- shift our mindset and self image
- identity, clear your emotional wounds
- and reprogram your nervous system
Then we will integrate right and left brain functions and restore your personal power.
Do you think you could curb the hypertension and hyper-vigilance you feel now and stop, breathe, and smell the flowers and feel at home? You can.
“When you understand what makes you tick, you can drop what needs to be dumped and embrace what will carry you forward. Then you can come out of the cave and into the sunshine of a new happy, healthy you.”
